Agreement between AEC and GMC to introduce Korean agricultural skills and technology

July 2, Kathmandu. An agreement has been signed between the Agricultural Enterprise Center (AEC) and the Global Multi-Cultural Center Korea (GMC) under the Federation of Nepal Industry and Commerce regarding the exchange of agricultural skills and technology. The agreement signed at the FNCCI building was signed by Arunraj Sumargi, Chairman of the Agricultural Enterprise Center and Yongsu (Eric) Moon, Secretary General, on behalf of the Cultural Center.

Under the agreement, the Cultural Center will provide training to Nepali farmers on the use of Korean skills and technology twice every 5 months. Nepalese farmers will work in Kimje and Muhangun in Korea. According to the agreement, various municipalities in Korea will facilitate the farmers who want to participate in the program through the Agricultural Enterprise Center. In Nepal, the Agricultural Enterprise Center will select real farmers in coordination with local municipalities and rural municipalities.

Farmers going to Korea for this program will get service facilities according to the standards and will have to spend at least 8 hours in farming. Chairman Sumargi told the onlinekendra  that getting Nepali farmers to participate in the program would be an important step for Nepali agriculture. He said – ‘I believe that this program will facilitate the introduction of Korean agricultural technology in Nepal.’

Moon of the Cultural Center said that he was impressed by the work done by the Nepali workers who had gone from EPS and that they were ready to take Nepali farmers to introduce Korean skills and technology to Nepal. At the agreement ceremony, the CEO of Agricultural Enterprise Center Dr. Dinesh Parajuli, Gambhir Shrestha, a member of Nepali Global Multi-Cultural Center who is doing business in Korea, were also present.
